When my wife and I decided to visit the southwest, we debated driving ourselves and taking a coach tour. We decided on the one-week coach tour, and we are very happy that we did. We are happy that you suggested going with Trafalgar, as they are a class act. The itinerary was very well thought out and the guide, driver, and safety person were all very pleasant and accommodating. A special shout out to Donard O'Neill, our guide, who was very knowledgeable about all the places that we drove through and visited. He also kept us on a tight schedule, which we appreciated. We were told up front that the tour would provide a "snapshot" of the sites visited. As it turned out, this was very true because we covered a large area in a relatively short time. 

The coach was comfortable, and we had frequent bathroom/rest stops. The accommodations were nice and clean, and we did not have to worry about the transport of our luggage. The meals were fine and we did have some down time to help recharge our batteries. 

The scenery was spectacular, and pictures/movies don't do the sites justice. All in all, we had a great time, and I would definitely recommend a coach tour for relaxing while taking in the sites.
